Bringing Home Your New RC7 Pembroke Welsh Corgi Puppy

Welcome to the RC7 Family

Congratulations on your new RC7 Pembroke Welsh Corgi! We are honored that you chose one of our puppies to become part of your family. Our goal is to raise healthy, confident, and well-socialized puppies that are prepared for a lifetime of companionship.

Preparing for Your New Puppy

Before bringing your puppy home, we recommend having:

  • Science Diet Small Puppy Bites
  • Food and water bowls
  • A properly sized crate
  • A collar and leash
  • Safe chew toys
  • A puppy bed or blanket
  • Grooming supplies
  • A veterinarian selected for your puppy’s first wellness visit

Nutrition

Our Corgi puppies are raised on Science Diet Small Puppy Bites.

We recommend keeping your puppy on the same food for the first couple of weeks after bringing them home to help avoid digestive upset. If you decide to change foods, transition gradually over 7–10 days.

Our adult Pembroke Welsh Corgis are fed Diamond Naturals Chicken & Rice Formula.

Potty Training

Every RC7 Corgi puppy is introduced to litter box training before leaving for its new home. While every puppy learns at its own pace, this early introduction helps make the transition to house training much easier.

Crate Training

Beginning around four weeks of age, our puppies are introduced to crates. This early exposure helps puppies become comfortable with crates before they leave for their new homes.

Grooming

Our puppies begin having their nails trimmed with a Dremel when they are only a few days old. This early introduction helps them become comfortable with routine grooming throughout their lives.

Regular brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and dental care should all become part of your puppy’s routine.
