Hello, my name is Brooke Ryan, and I am the breeder and owner behind Rafter Cross 7 Corgis. I am a passionate and experienced breeder with a lifelong love for animals. From a young age, I began breeding miniature horses, Quarter horses, various breeds of dogs, and even Pygmy goats. My journey began at nine years old, breeding registered Beagles, Queensland Heelers, raising Queensland until I was 22. At one point, I had twenty miniature horses bucking and playing around me. The first time I laid eyes on a corgi, I fell in love, and I have been a dedicated and passionate individual with breeding AKC Registered Pembroke Welsh Corgis for the past seven years. Our corgis have seamlessly integrated into our lifestyle, bringing immense happiness and fulfillment. I have dedicated my life and skills to perfecting the art of breeding these beautiful animals.
Rafter Cross 7 is not just a brand but a representation of our commitment to excellence in our dogs, cattle, and horse breeding programs. Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a devoted wife and proud mother of four beautiful children. Our love for the Lord and our shared passion for animals have shaped our lives in ways that are truly fulfilling. We are fortunate to call a working cattle ranch in Caliente, California, our home, where we can raise our children in a unique and captivating environment. Our commitment to homeschooling our children is one aspect that sets our family apart. Homeschooling allows us to cultivate a deep appreciation for knowledge and instill a strong work ethic from an early age. I am proud that my kids share my love for animals and actively participate in our breeding endeavors.
CORGIS BRING SO MUCH JOY
Breeding corgis has been a remarkable journey for our family. In 2022, we took our passion for corgis to new heights by entering the world of AKC dog shows, showcasing the excellence and superiority of our breeding program. We work with a professional handler who represents us in the ring to ensure that our dogs receive the utmost care and attention. However, I am thrilled to step into the ring and showcase our dogs' incredible attributes whenever possible. One of the most rewarding aspects of our breeding endeavor is seeing my oldest son's enthusiasm for showing our dogs in the junior classes. He has developed a deep passion for this art form and revels in the opportunity to display the beauty and grace of our corgis. As a licensed breeder and AKC-inspected professional, we take immense pride in maintaining the highest standards of excellence. Our corgis are a true testament to this commitment, as they embody the ideal characteristics of the breed, both in terms of conformational correctness and overall health.
